Get to know me
I'm Ram Srinivasan — a Supply Chain professional based in Chennai, at the intersection of operations, technology, and continuous learning. I'm on a journey to blend domain expertise with the power of AI and automation.
My story
I started my career deep in supply chain operations — tracking inventory, optimizing flows, solving logistics puzzles that never quite fit neatly into spreadsheets. That friction is what drove me toward automation.
Over 5+ years, I've seen how smart systems can replace hours of manual work with minutes of intelligent processing. I became obsessed with building those systems — first for myself, then for the teams around me.
Today, I sit at an interesting crossroads: a practitioner who knows the operational pain points and has the technical curiosity to build solutions for them.
I believe the best tools are the ones that disappear into the work — so well-designed that they feel invisible. That philosophy drives how I approach both process design and the automation tools I build.
When I'm not untangling supply chain complexity, I'm usually drawing (analog, deliberate, slow) or deep in a game that rewards systems thinking. Both hobbies, oddly enough, teach the same lessons.
This site is where I share what I learn — from supply chain insights to automation experiments to the occasional half-formed idea worth thinking through in public.
Experience
Leading workflow automation initiatives, process optimization projects, and integrating AI tools into daily supply chain operations. Reduced manual reporting time by building automated dashboards and data pipelines.
Led a team handling semi-voice customer support operations, ensuring quality, SLA adherence, and performance optimization. Coordinated workflow distribution, resolved escalations, and streamlined reporting processes — building leadership strength and operational efficiency at scale.
Education
Established a solid foundation in logistics and supply chain management, emphasizing analytical thinking, systems design, and operational efficiency across end-to-end supply networks.
Built a strong foundation in accounting and finance, focusing on financial analysis, taxation, and data-driven business decision-making.
Capabilities
Beyond work
Analog, deliberate, slow. Drawing is the opposite of my day job — no undo button, no automation. Just a pen and a blank page teaching me to be patient with the process.
Particularly drawn to games that reward systems thinking — strategy games, open-world sandboxes, anything with deep mechanics. They're essentially supply chain problems in disguise.
Tinkering with new AI tools, testing prompts, building small automations. This started as curiosity and has become one of my most valuable professional skills.
Turning messy thoughts into clear ideas. I write to think, and publish to stay accountable. The blog is where half-formed ideas go to become something shareable.
Whether you have a project, an opportunity, or just want to talk supply chain and automation — I'd love to hear from you.
